What is LED backlight?

Backlight is an electronic component accessory composed of light source + light guide plate, which is used to provide light source for LCD. The liquid crystal in the LCD panel itself cannot emit light. The positive and negative electrodes of the electrodes are offset, and the LED backlight illuminates the liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal panel and uses polarizers to filter the liquid crystal molecules in different states to refract the light, so that it can display images and text.
In applications, LED backlight (with its own light source) and light guide plate (the light source is located on other components) are usually used. Such products are called backlights.
