0802A Lcd Screen

Hunan Chengxin LCD 0802A is a 16-pin alphanumeric liquid crystal display (LCD) module capable of displaying 2 lines of 8 characters each. It is widely used in electronic projects for presenting text-based information such as sensor readings, system status, or user instructions. This module is compatible with most microcontrollers, including Arduino, and is ideal for applications requiring a compact and efficient text display.

The 0802A-16 character-type liquid crystal display module is a dot matrix liquid crystal display module specifically designed for displaying letters, numeric characters, symbols, etc. It supports 4-bit and 8-bit data transmission modes. It provides a 5x7 dot matrix + cursor display mode. It offers a display data buffer DDRAM, a character generator CGROM, and a character generator CGRAM. The CGRAM can be used to store up to 8 graphic character fonts of 5x8 dot matrix defined by the user. It provides a rich set of instructions: clear display; cursor return to origin; display on/off; cursor on/off; display character blinking; cursor shift; display shift, etc. It features an internal power-on automatic reset circuit. When external power is applied, the module automatically performs initialization operations, setting the module to the default display working state.
